The idea of this program is a good one, you have your most-used applications, documents, folders, etc., within easy reach and the circular arrangement of the icons makes them faster and more efficient to access with the mouse. This is a very good software.

XUS Desktop Basic instructions:



- Right click shortcut or group to customize them.
- Files and folders can be dragged onto blank shortcut or group on the circle to create new items.
- You can drag items off the circle to delete them or right-click on them to delete via menu.
- Right click the "XUS Desktop Logo" item to access XUS Desktop Settings via menu.
- XUS Desktop can read PNG image files, as well as 32-bit icon files in Windows XP, Vista, 7.0

What are the hotkeys used to XUS Desktop?



1. Hotkey (Alt + Space) : Show/Hide XUS Desktop
2. Hotkey (Shift + Tab) : Switch desktop between XUS Desktop and Microsoft Windows Desktop
3. Hotkey (Ctrl + Tab) : Minimize XUS Desktop
4. Hotkey (Esc) : Cancel current operation

How to add shortcut & delete Shortcut?



XUS Desktop supports Drag-Drop technic. Just an easy drag-drop will finish adding shortcut & deleting shortcut.

Adding shortcut is easy as A.B.C



a. Click and hold the file or folder you want to added
b. Use hotkey (Alt + Space) to invoke XUS Desktop
c. Drag file or folder onto the blank shortcut or group

Does not work properly under 64bit OS?



Under 64bit OS, XUS Desktop needs administrator privilege.

You can right click XUS Desktop's shortcut icon,
>> Select "Properties" in popup menu
>> Choose "Compatibility" tab
>> "Privilege Level" section
>> Check "Run this program as an administrator" option.
